May 2007: IBM selects Springfield Technology as one of the companies to be included in their Mentor Program. A program that was originated to assist diverse supplies expand and grow their base within IBM and within their marketplace. A kick-off retreat was held in May in IBM's Charlotte, North Carolina facility.
November 2006: Springfield Technology was chosen to provide Merck Hardware and Installation services as they map out its technology refresh program throughout their offices.
June 2006: Springfield Technology was selected to provide computer repair services to Symbol Technologies in support of one of their MVS service contracts.
June 2004: Anthony F. Dolphin, Chairman and CEO of SpringBoard Technology was named “Entrepreneur of the Year 2004” by BusinessWest publications. BusinessWest is a premier business periodical published monthly supporting the Western Massachusetts marketplace.
November 2003: Springfield Chamber of Commerce awards SpringBoard Technology the Super 60 recognition. SpringBoard has received this honor several times.
October 2003: National Minority Supplier Development Council awards SpringBoard Technology the “Regional Supplier of the Year” award. The nomination was submitted by SpringBoard Technology’s valued customer and business partner, IBM Corporation. Both IBM and SpringBoard were present at the awards ceremony.
September 2003: Anthony Dolphin, Chairman and CEO of SpringBoard Technology is named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
September 2003: Hewlett-Packard awards multi-million dollar, North American, Hub Contract to SpringBoard Technology. Hewlett-Packard’s Worldwide Procurement Organization perused a number of valued Reverse Supply Chain & Repair Organizations for scope, capability and competitiveness in order to develop a quotation list of qualified suppliers capable of providing North American Hub Service for Compaq and Hewlett-Packard’s Optical products.
August 2003: Kodak signs contract with SpringBoard Technology. This is a strategic partnership for both companies. Kodak announced that it is outsourcing its CIG parts supply and refurbishment work to SpringBoard Technology of Springfield, Massachusetts.
July 23, 2003: SpringBoard Technology: Acquires ISO certification to the ISO9001:2000 standards Bobbie Miles, Quality Assurance Vice President announced today that SpringBoard Technology, headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts has successfully completed its ISO audit and subsequent ISO9001:2000 registration. The latest registration brings SpringBoard Technology from the former 1994 standard, to the most current, more stringent 2000 standard.
June 6, 2003: Springfield, MA, SpringBoard Technology commemorates their 10 year anniversary with a formal gala at the Sheraton Springfield, Monarch Place.
July, 2002: SpringBoard Technology Corporation named as Hewlett Packard Reseller. SpringBoard Technology Corporation, (headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts), a MBE service provider of Repair, Logistics and Contract Manufacturing services, has acquired authorization from Hewlett-Packard to be a reseller of the entire HP and Compaq product lines. The certification will allow SpringBoard to compete and offer cost-advantages to its customer base, along with superior quality and performance.
June 10, 2002: SpringBoard Technology Corporation acquires Oki Data Reseller Agreement. SpringBoard Technology Corporation, (headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts), a MBE service provider of Repair, Logistics and Contract Manufacturing services, has acquired authorization from Oki Data to be a reseller of their entire Printer product line.
June 3, 2002: SpringBoard Technology Corporation acquires Compaq Authorized Reseller Certification. The certification will allow SpringBoard to compete and offer cost-advantages to its customer base, along with superior quality and performance.
January 30, 2001: Germantown, MD – Acterna signs turnkey Manufacturing Contract with SpringBoard Technology. This will be a strategic partnership for both companies. Acterna announces that it is outsourcing manufacturing for its TTC 2000 Test Pad, a communications test platform for telecommunications networks, to SpringBoard Technology of Springfield, Massachusetts.
January 2000: SpringBoard Technology breezed through their Y2K compliancy testing and experienced zero downtime, due to their proactive measures taken by the IT department headed up by Robert Frank of West Springfield.
June 1999: SpringBoard announces award of major outsourcing contract from IBM Corporation. SpringBoard will be IBM’s direct fulfillment center and service arm for all Hewlett-Packard branded products that IBM services has under contract. The contract is for 3-years with annual renewals thereafter.
March 22, 1999: SpringBoard Technology relocates within the STCC Technology Park. SpringBoard Technology Corporation, headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts, (with additional locations in Norwood Massachusetts and Reading, England) has announced the completion of their relocation within the Springfield Technical Community College Technology Park. The corporate administrative offices, which were formerly located in building 111-2, State Street entrance, have been moved to building 104 within the Technology Park.
November 24, 1998: SpringBoard Technology acquires Communication Products Repair Division from Compaq Computer Corporation (formerly known as Microcom). SpringBoard Technology Corporation, headquartered in Springfield, Massachusetts, has announced the acquisition of the Communications products repair division, formerly known as Microcom, from Compaq Computer Corporation.
June 1, 1998: SpringBoard Technology Corporation’s 5th year anniversary celebration was hosted and co-hosted by Senator John Kerry, Massachusetts Democrat and the SpringBoard Technology Corporation Board of Directors. The event was attended by many business leaders, dignitaries and elected officials.
November 13, 1995: SpringBoard Technology announced becoming a repair service provide for Sony’s Optical Storage products. SpringBoard Technology announced today that they will support the service repair business for Sony’s optical storage products by Sony’s Integrated Storage Products Division.
March 13, 1995: SpringBoard Technology, headquartered in Springfield, MA has gone Global... with offices in England, Singapore to better service the worldwide market. Anthony Dolphin, President and CEO of SpringBoard Technology stated SpringBoard has been in a growth phase since opening it’s doors in June, 1993.
February, 1995: Micropolis awards the 1300 & 1600 Product Series repair business to SpringBoard Technology. SpringBoard Technology announced today that William T. Mullen, Director of Customer Services for Micropolis Corporation has appointed SpringBoard Technology as the “Independent Service Organization” which was awarded the repair and end of life support for the 1300 & 1600 product series.
January 17, 1995: SpringBoard Technology has been awarded the Seagate Repair Business for the Wren & Swift Disk Drive Product Lines. Anthony Dolphin, President and CEO of SpringBoard Technology announced today that SpringBoard Technology has been selected as the “independent service organization” and awarded the Low End Wren (Wren II through Wren V HH) and Swift products repair business.
December 1, 1994: SpringBoard Technology named as an Exabyte Domestic Service Provider. SpringBoard Technology Corporation today announced that it has been named a domestic provider for the 8200 and 8500 line of Exabyte tape drives and tape libraries.
February 1994: SpringBoard Technology becomes ISO registered in recorded breaking time. We began soliciting this accreditation immediately after inception in June of 1993, and just eight months later we have become fully certified, stated Anthony Dolphin, President of SpringBoard Technology.
June 1, 1993: Springfield Massachusetts – SpringBoard Technology launched as a new, independent, minority business. The company was formed as a leveraged buy-out of the former Digital Equipment Corporation’s repair business of their storage (disk and tape) products, stated Anthony Dolphin, Founder and President of SpringBoard Technology.
