Founded in 2013, Springboard has served almost 10,000 students in more than 100 countries with the help of nearly 300 expert mentors. This community of lifelong learners is the heart of what makes Springboard work. We recently connected with a few of our data science and UX design alumni. In this short video series, they share their learning journeys.

First, meet Masashi Omori, data scientist at McAfee; Aisha Butt, UX research associate at Facebook; Andrew Garcia, data analyst at Pandora; and some of our other incredible alumni:

In this video, our alumni talk about the advantages of working with a mentor: consistent feedback while completing the coursework, personalized guidance during the job search, and even friendship afterward:

What kind of practical work do Springboard’s data science and UX design students do? Here, alumni talk about their capstone projects, which tackled everything from a student’s family’s farm to reimagined elements for websites like OKCupid and Yelp.

Finally, alumni share their favorite parts of the Springboard experience, from the quality of the course curriculum to the community-building with mentors and fellow students.
