You’ve seen the headlines. (You may even have been among the victims.) From the Equifax breach affecting 145 million people to Uber\u2019s security scare impacting 57 million drivers and riders, it seems like every week brings with it news of another massive security nightmare impacting our personal data. Companies of all sizes are realizing that they\u2019re not immune to risk, and are searching for new hires who can help prevent future blunders. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But there\u2019s a problem. There aren\u2019t enough talented workers who can do the job. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Springboard, a core part of our mission is to equip people with the knowledge they need to succeed in skills-gap industries. And with as many as <\/span>3.5 million<\/span><\/a> unfilled cybersecurity jobs expected by 2021, this field has a serious gap. That\u2019s why we created our <\/span>Introduction to Cybersecurity<\/span><\/a> course earlier this spring. And now, for professionals who already have experience in related technical fields and who understand the fundamentals of cybersecurity, we\u2019ve launched the <\/span>Cybersecurity Career Track<\/span><\/a>. <\/span>

<\/span>This is a mentor-guided online bootcamp designed to get you certified and hired. You\u2019ll develop your cybersecurity skill set, mastering the technical skills needed to make systems and software more secure (and to pass the certification exam).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Just as important, you\u2019ll become part of a powerful and supportive community, anchored by weekly one-on-one conversations with your mentor, an industry expert. You\u2019ll be able to interact with classmates and alumni. And Springboard\u2019s student advisors and career coaches will be with you every step of the way, providing guidance and tips that will set you up for success. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
