Today, we\u2019re happy to announce the launch of a new Springboard course, Introduction to Design<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design is one of the tech industry\u2019s fastest-growing professional fields. Demand for accomplished designers working in UI (user interface) and UX (user experience) is expected to grow by 14.9% over the next 10 years.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This growth is not news to us here at Springboard. UX design was one of our first online bootcamps; we launched it in 2014 with the hope of giving our students real, hands-on experience in this growing field. Today, our UX Design Career Track<\/a> and our UI\/UX Design Career Track<\/a> offer a deep dive into UI and UX design with additional mentorship and support, including one-on-one video calls from industry leaders and the chance to work with a real company on several portfolio projects.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But as we listened to feedback from our students and alumni, we realized something important. Diving headfirst into a nine-month-long design bootcamp is intimidating\u2014not to mention a significant investment of time, money, and resources. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introduction to Design<\/strong> was inspired by those conversations. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a short, four-week course for anyone who wants to learn more about the basics of design without investing too much time or money upfront. If you are new to the design field, it will give you a chance to road-test a new career and see if it\u2019s the right fit and to get a taste for online learning in the process.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The best part? There is no application process: just a one-time tuition fee of $490. In addition, we\u2019re launching the course with a special introductory price of $349<\/strong> for a limited time. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
