Social media provides a multitude of channels to tell your brand story. This unit shows you how to create brand guidelines to ensure the story remains consistent across all platforms and formats. Create a set of guidelines for your brand in the capstone.

Your goals for social media determine your content pillars. Are you looking to educate, inspire, sell or otherwise? Learn common Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and how they inform influencer partnerships, posting cadence, and more before creating your own in the capstone.

Learn to write compelling short-form copy using the “main idea” concept in this unit. Craft headlines, titles, captions complemented by relevant Calls To Action (CTA), hashtags, and emojis. You’ll then implement these skills by turning news articles and blogs into tweets and posts for the capstone.

In this unit, you’ll get hands-on experience creating and scheduling content on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and more. In addition, you’ll work with graphic design and video tools Canva and Figma. The capstone combines your new writing and visual skills as you create multiple assets.

An organized content calendar forms the basis for an efficient social strategy. In this unit, you’ll create your own calendar for the capstone using tools such as Hootsuite and Sprout. You’ll also learn the paid and organic strategies to help you maximize it using Facebook Business Manager and Tweetdeck.

Relevant metrics, measurement tools, and knowing how to interpret the data allows you to evolve or pivot your strategy. This unit explains KPIs such as engagement, impressions and audience. In the final capstone you’ll evaluate a dataset and develop a pivot strategy.
