About the Info Session

In this info-session, you will be joined by:

Roger Huang, (Head of Content at Springboard)

Roger writes frequently about data science topics, and his work has been featured in Fast Company, TechCrunch, Forbes and more. 

Ryan Rosario (previously at Facebook)

Ryan is a "statistician turned Computer Scientist" interested in technologies for extracting and massaging data, and using data to paint a picture of some metric of interest. He has extensive education in both Statistics and Computer Science and have worked on several professional, research and personal projects related to web mining, machine learning and data mining in general, having helped scale Facebook's data infrastructure among other projects. 

What we will cover

  • Intro to Data Science and Ryan's story: Ryan will talk briefly about what a data scientist does and he will talk about his story and how he became a data scientist. 
  • Q&A: Bring your data science career questions and Ryan will answer them!
