Springboard really works hard to be a curriculum that you can integrate into your life as you’re a full-time employee or doing something else on the side and I really appreciated that. I felt like I could do my job—you know, pay my bills—and at the same time be moving toward a longer-term goal—and that was really important to me.

The biggest highlight of the Springboard course was definitely the mentorship. I still to this day have no idea how they paired me with someone that I get along really well with. My mentor Sadok did a great job… by guiding me in the right direction, but not always providing the straightforward answer.

I liked having the support of an online community where you could ask questions and you could see everyone else’s work—I thought that was really helpful. I felt like I had a great support system because if I were doing it just on my own without a mentor... I don’t think I would have been as successful as I was.

Frequently Asked Questions

The UX Career Track is designed to help you get a job while UX Design Course is designed to help you learn the foundations of UX. The main differences are duration, curriculum rigor, and career support. Check out this blog post for more information.

This course is for people who want to get a job in UX Design. We require candiates to have academic or professional experience in user design or development oriented fields. Examples include:

  • Graphic / Visual / UI Design
  • Psychology
  • Research
  • Web development

The challenge is all free-form answer and is designed to assess your ability to: (a) Empathize with users; (b) Generate ideas; (c) Justify your design decisions.

We’re not looking for perfect answers — you’re not a UX Design pro yet! Rather, we want to get a better sense of how you approach a problem scenario and the creative ways you propose to solve it.

The challenge is not a timed test but, for reference, most students take less than 60 minutes to complete it.

This challenge will allow us — and you — to assess your readiness for the course. If you find the test difficult and are not able to successfully answer a majority of the questions in each section, don’t worry! We have great options for you, and can advise you on best next steps after you’ve submitted the challenge.

There are three payment options:

  • Monthly Plan: You pay $999 per month, only for the month's you're enrolled (most students complete within 6 months).
  • Upfront payment: You pay $4,900 upfront for 6 months. This is a 18% discount on the monthly plan.
We also offer a low-interest financing option for eligible students:
  • Affirm loan: Available by application to qualifying US citizens and permanent residents. If approved, you can pay as little as $295 a month.
