UX Design isn’t about making something pretty— it’s about creating exceptional products that people want and need. The best way to do that is to deeply understand your users, and keep them in mind through every step of the design process.
Learn the fundamentals of UX
including user-centered design and research techniques to gain customer insight.
Build your own project
and create deliverables like user personas, wireframes, and a portfolio website.
Work with your own expert mentor
to get detailed project feedback and career advice, via weekly 1:1 video calls.
Develop a tool kit and design processes you can use throughout your career.
Have a capstone project to include in your portfolio.
Gain comfort with the language of UX design, and build a network to rely on.
You'll join an engaged, global community and network with UX experts.
Each week, you get 30 min of 1-on-1 time with your personal mentor, an expert UX designer.
Interact with classmates and alumni in our private community. Attend weekly Office Hours for career advice.
If you want to build a functional, real skill set, then there's not a better option out there than Springboard.

Every student must complete a Capstone Project before they graduate.
This is designed to provide the experience of working in a professional UX scenario. Your mentor will help you pick a project of your interest, targeted to a specific client (real or imaginary). Using UX techniques you've learned, you will create a project that is portfolio-worthy.

In this course you’ll focus on learning design processes. Tools come and go, process stays with you. That's why the best employers care about process, not tools.
We’ll introduce you to a set of design tools, but you are free to choose any tools you prefer. Here are some of the tools our students have used, with guidance from their mentors:
Adobe XD
Sketch
Invision
Illustrator
We’re not going to pretend that this course is easy. This is a serious commitment with real rewards.
The good news? We’ve helped thousands of designers, product managers, business analysts, and marketers learn UX fundamentals to advance their careers.
You commit to put in the hard work and time. We are committed to supporting you at every step and helping you succeed
Time to graduate depends on your weekly commitment. On average, our graduates complete this course in 3 months.
Did you know that your employer might cover your course fees? Want materials to share with your manager or HR? Send us a note at hello@springboard.com.
All our courses take place entirely online. All you need is an Internet connection.
We worked with industry experts to curate the best online resources, based on the most relevant and in-demand skills, into a logical sequence. Expect a total of ~100 hours of work, including project work.
You’ll interact 1-on-1 with your personal mentor every week in a 30-minute video call. Your mentor will help with technical and career guidance. They’ll also keep you accountable and help ensure that you actually complete the course. Additionally, you’ll have access to weekly Office Hours and to an exclusive community of mentors and fellow learners. You can ask questions and receive project feedback through the mentor calls, Office Hours or the community.
