We’re excited to announce that Springboard has ranked no. 1334 on the Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of America’s fastest-growing private companies.
The annual list represents a unique look at the most successful companies in the independent small businesses sector. Microsoft, Patagonia, Intuit, Zappos, and Under Armour all gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.
Springboard is especially proud to be featured on the 2020 list, whose growth compared with prior lists is noteworthy. The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved a three-year average growth of over 500%. In 2019, the Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion, accounting for over one million jobs over the past three years. Springboard was ranked sixth among education companies in California.
“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” Inc. editor-in-chief, Scott Omelianuk, said. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”
This is an incredible achievement for our team here at Springboard. We’ve managed to demonstrate a three-year revenue growth of 334.6%, in addition to raising $31 million in Series B funding, bringing our total capital raised to more than $50 million.
The latest round of funding raised will enable us to double down on student employability in response to the current job market by creating new hiring-focused products and strengthening employer partnerships to help our graduates land their dream careers.
Springboard’s remote-first, mentor-led approach to education is more vital now than it has ever been. We are in the middle of the largest global labor market shift in over a century. We’re seeing millions of displaced workers who are looking to make the difficult transition into new, in-demand careers. And we want to help them.
We recently launched our new Data Engineering Career Track and we’re planning to share more exciting news in the coming months, including the growth of our services and programs.
We are also looking to deepen our partnerships with universities and employers—more on that soon! In the meantime, learn more about Springboard and our unique approach to learning and mentorship here.
