Springboard has a bold vision for transforming education and bridging the skills gap: we’re building a new kind of online school. Education is no longer a one-off, full-time investment; it's a lifelong pursuit which should be tailored to individual goals, needs, and capacity. We empower our students to thrive in this new world order by delivering high-quality education, with a focus on real career outcomes.
Our programs — in cutting-edge subjects like data science, business analytics and UX design — are founded upon best-in-class curricula, rich in project-based pedagogy. In addition, learners receive ongoing mentorship from industry experts, plus outstanding support and career services.
We’re backed by awesome investors (including the founders of LinkedIn and Princeton Review), and we’re growing quickly as a team, a company, and a community. We’ve helped thousands of people already, and we’re hiring so we can achieve our ambitious goal of touching millions of lives!
About The Team
Our team is passionate about education, technology and social change. We look out for each other. We take on big challenges — setting strategy and direction, executing against audacious goals — in service of our first priority: our students’ success. We’re excited to get to work everyday, as much for the problems we’re solving as for the culture that holds us together (from lunch-and-learn sessions to a deep love for food and Slack emoji). Come join us!
Springboard uses Python/Django as primary technology stack and we are looking to add a Quality Assurance Engineer to our team. Your role will require you to contribute to quality assurance efforts.
You will understand the product specifications and interact with developers, product and design teams to decide the best approach to test a particular feature and later contribute towards its automation. You will focus on all steps of the development lifecycle and remain accountable for assuring high-quality software.
We have a lot of fantastic features planned in coming months; our product is continuously being improved and you will take on a huge chunk of responsibility to ensure these features meet highest quality standards and contribute to a platform that's robust and scalable.
Springboard’s mission is to bridge the skills gap by delivering a high-quality, affordable education to anyone who wishes to learn quickly, effectively, and in a way that fits in with their busy lives.
As the team and business have grown, so have our infrastructural needs. We’ll be moving to a new office soon; our founders’ plates are fuller than ever. So we’re looking for someone detail-oriented, reliable, anticipatory, and unflappable to serve as our new Office Manager / Executive Assistant. You’ll interact with our co-founders and every member of our team. You’ll be critical to our daily work and our long-term success (though it’d be impossible to describe what a typical day looks like!) Perhaps it’s best to say that you’re a human Swiss Army knife who can roll with the punches and who takes joy in ensuring that busy teams are well-equipped for success.
As Office Manager, you’ll help create an awesome work environment for the Springboard team — whether by decorating our new office, ordering yummy snacks, paying the bills, or planning and executing twice-yearly team offsites in far-flung locations. You’ll do the behind-the-scenes work so that the front of house is comfortable, welcoming, and outfitted for max productivity.
As the co-founders’ EA, you’ll keep them organized, efficient, and ready for each packed day/week! Whether it’s taking charge of administrative tasks (communications, appointments, calendaring, reservations, agendas, expenses) or conducting basic research or managing company-related paperwork, you’ll take the little things off their plates so that they can focus on the big ones.
There are many fun and engaging projects for you to take on from the get-go, plus many more to come as the company continues to grow. Your work will indirectly support an amazing and important mission: of providing anyone, anywhere, with access to the latest professional skills.
