Ready to launch your career?

Building a human-centric approach to online learning is at the heart of what our team does here at Springboard. In the pursuit of that mission, we’ve grown from a handful of team members in San Francisco and Bangalore to a 40+ strong team with specialists in everything from product design to student services, mentorship to marketing, curriculum design to career services.

We’ve hit some major milestones along the way, but none quite as big as our latest. We’re thrilled to share we’ve raised $9.5 million in Series A funding, led by Costanoa Ventures, with participation by Learn Capital and Jyoti Bansal, the founder of Appdynamics, as well as returning investors Blue Fog Capital, Rocketship.vc, and Moneta Ventures.

We’ve grown by offering courses focused on skills-gap industries where demand for talent is outstripping supply. Throughout our existence, we’ve educated more than 7,000 students in data science, UX design, and business analytics, and are proud to have students and alumni in nearly 80 countries. Our mentor community is a huge source of pride for all of us: it’s made up of more than 350 professional mentors from companies ranging from Amazon and Airbnb to Uber and McKinsey.

The Springboard model pairs each student with an industry mentor, who provides invaluable real-world context, frequent feedback, and career advice. Through that model we’ve not only helped students achieve their goals, but we’ve built a community of learners and mentors that lasts long beyond the final course project.

With this funding, we’ll be able to expand courses into new verticals and geographies, improve upon our learning platform, expand career services and alumni support, and hire across product, marketing, engineering, and student services. It’s an exciting time to be a Springboarder!

Thanks for being part of the journey with us—and if you’re interested in getting more involved, check out our current openings (we’re hiring!) or learn more about our course offerings and learning model.
