UI / UX Design Bootcamp

This UI/UX bootcamp is for people who demonstrate strong visual, creativity, and communication skills and are looking for a role in UI/UX design.

All backgrounds are welcome as long as you can demonstrate strong visual, creativity, and communication skills (which are critical on a cross-functional design team).

The skills survey is a basic assessment to ensure you'll have a successful experience in the course.

What can you expect?

The technical skills survey is a combination of multiple choice and free-form questions, and is designed to evaluate your: 1) visual aptitude; 2) ability to empathize with users and synthesize information; 3) ability to justify design decisions.

We’re not looking for perfect answers — you’re not a UI/UX design pro yet! Rather, we want to get a better sense of your instincts in each area.

The skills survey is not a timed test but, for reference, most students take less than 45 minutes to complete it.

This skills survey will allow us — and you — to assess your readiness for the course.

Most students will complete the UI/UX Design Career Track in 9 months, devoting 15-25 hours/week. 

You should expect to take the full 9 months, but can aim to complete it in less time if you are: highly proficient in design thinking; are ready to devote more time per week to complete the curriculum materials; and are driven and disciplined with managing your study schedule.

The UI/UX Design Career Track bootcamp is beginner friendly. All backgrounds are welcome if you can demonstrate strong visual, creativity, and communication skills. 

You will have to pass a technical skills survey, which is an evaluation of baseline visual skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to empathize with users.

We do recommend candidates have a bachelor’s degree or higher (in any subject). If you don’t have a degree, you are welcome to apply with the understanding that not having a degree may be a barrier to landing certain roles. Degree level doesn't impact your admission into the program. All enrolled students, regardless of degree level, receive comprehensive 1:1 support and individualized career coaching. We've got your back.

Step 2: Talk to admissions

After you submit your application, our admissions team will follow up with a phone call to review your application and answer any questions you have. 

Step 3: Take the technical skills survey 

Next, we’ll send a skills survey to figure out what you already know, so you’re set up for success from the very beginning. If you’re new to the field, don’t worry — we’ve got a plan for everyone.

Step 4: Reserve your spot

When you pass the survey, we will send you a registration link. Choose the start date and payment plan that works for you! Then get ready to transform your career.

To accelerate your career shift into user experience design, you'll be matched with a real company to complete a 40-hour industry design project that solves a business problem.

While working on the industry design project, you'll:

• Collaborate directly with a client for four weeks

• Dive deeper into an area of the UI/UX design process you’re especially interested in: competitive research, user research, usability testing, redesign recommendations

• Set yourself apart from other bootcamp graduates with a personalized portfolio

• Your career coach: Help with resume reviews, mock interviews, job search strategy, and more

• And finally, your classmates: Form study groups, get feedback, and work on projects together!

There are a few payment options so you can fund your future however suits you best.

• 20% discounted upfront payment: You pay $7,900 upfront ($9,900) 

• Month-to-month: You pay $990 per month while you are enrolled in the program. If you take 9 months to graduate, your total payment is $8,910. If you graduate sooner, you pay less!

Yes! Once you successfully complete the course and all the projects, you will receive a signed certificate of completion. 

Thousands of Springboard graduates have used their certificate to demonstrate their skills to potential employers and to their LinkedIn network. In fact, we have an integration with LinkedIn, so you can display a verified certificate on your profile.
