We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our newest course. In it, we’re taking the proven model from our Data and Design programs to a new vertical: software engineering.
Now you can benefit from Springboard’s job guarantee, 1:1 mentorship, and career coaching to launch your career in the rapidly growing field of software development.
We’ve built this software engineering course in partnership with experts in software engineering education.
SF-based Rithm School has a track record of placing graduates in jobs paying over $100,000 and Colt Steele is one of Udemy’s best-selling and top-rated coding instructors, with a 94% job placement rate during his time as the lead instructor at Galvanize.
We’re excited to help you kickstart your career as a software developer with partners who have a track record of helping students succeed with compelling and accessible content.
What’s unique about this course?
In this course, you’ll learn the latest technologies and frameworks used by top developers at companies like Facebook and Netflix, such as React.js and Node.js. You’ll also get hands-on experience through sprints and capstone projects. After 9 months of immersive learning, you’ll graduate with robust software engineering skills and a unique portfolio to show hiring managers.
We’re invested in our student outcomes, and believe we succeed only when you succeed. That’s why this course is backed by our job guarantee. Get a job after graduating, or your money back. Our students have seen an average increase of $25,000 in salary, and they are hired by companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, and more.
Here’s what you can expect from the program:
- An 800-hour self-paced curriculum covering a comprehensive list of front-end, back-end, and full-stack languages and frameworks.
- 4 hire-ready capstone projects to showcase your talent to hiring managers.
- Skills other software and web bootcamps don’t teach, like Python and Flask
- Regular 1:1 video meetings with your personal mentor, plus unlimited calls with other mentors and industry experts.
- Unlimited 1:1 career coaching to optimize your professional profile, prepare for interviews and land the job you want – guaranteed!
With a self-paced curriculum and a job guarantee, you won’t have to quit your current job until you have a better one waiting for you. And our deferred tuition payment option means you won’t have to pay tuition until you have an offer on the table. This means you don’t take any of the risk of finding a job, and you can save up to $18,000 when compared to a traditional income share agreement.
Who is this course for?
The Software Engineering Career track welcomes students from all backgrounds who have a basic understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and familiarity with HTML/CSS. To enroll in the course, you’ll be asked to complete a Fit Interview and a Technical Skills Survey. Afterward, you can reserve a spot in any upcoming cohort.
How long will the course last?
The course is flexible, online and self-paced — if you spend 20 hours a week, you should finish in nine months, but you can choose to accelerate or slow down your pace depending on your needs. Since you have personalized support from our mentors, the bootcamp is highly customized to your needs, including the time you can spend on it. This is why we can offer you the opportunity to wait until you have a better job on the table before resigning from your current job.
What do I need for the course?
Just a device with an internet connection. We’ll take care of everything else.
