Systematically identify the root cause of a fault or problem in a business

Have you ever encountered a business problem that you have not yet been able to solve? Or if you did find a solution it was only temporary because you did not solve the cause of the problem but rather the surface of the problem. The purpose of root cause analysis is to strike at the root of a problem by finding and resolving its root causes.

A large global e-commerce company has just entered a new country, and is seeing product returns increase. What could be causing this? You will create hypotheses and systematically test them using data, to arrive at the root cause of the problem.

WEEK 6-7:

Identify the most relevant groups among a business' customers


Customer segmentation is the practice of dividing a customer base into groups of individuals that are similar in specific ways relevant to marketing, such as age, gender, interests and spending habits. Here are some valuable things you can do with segmentation analysis:
